Call for Volunteers
Linda Hendrickson and Therese Fisher have volunteered to organize the next CBBG exhibit at the Multnomah Arts Center. The exhibit will highlight the use of paper in basketry. If you are interested in helping to organize this event, please contact Therese Fisher [(503) 236-4307 or therese [at] fisherartstudio.com]. We will need help with everything from marketing, making labels, and organizing the reception to installation and takedown.
Call for Artists
This exhibit is open to all members of the Columbia Basin Basketry Guild. Items submitted must have paper as a visually predominant feature. All skill levels are welcome. Class baskets/kits will be accepted and must be labeled with the class they were made in or the pattern designer. Baskets can be for display or for sale. Artists may submit up to 5 entries. Application fee is $5 per artist.
Jurors: Therese Fisher and Linda Hendrickson.
Deadline to apply: November 15th, 2006.

Haven’t tried using paper? Take advantage of one of the many classes at fall retreat using paper and you will be well on your way to having an entry for the exhibit!
