Basket Day  2010

Basket Day

August 7, 2010, 10am – 4pm

Gourchid Flats

Milwaukie, Oregon

Mark your calendars for a fun day of weaving and socializing. The Guild will pay for the instruction; you only pay a small materials fee.

You may also just drop in to visit and work on your pet project. (Consider a day in the tropics and weave in the greenhouse.) However, if you are interested in taking a class, you'll need to sign up and pay your materials fee ahead of time to enable the instructor to prepare enough material, instruction sheets, etc.

To sign up for Basket Day classes, contact Mary Gayle Van Ingen at 503-654-3116 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              503-654-3116      end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              503-654-3116      end_of_the_skype_highlighting or allagourd@comcast.net.

There will be a finger food potluck, so bring two things to share that can be eaten with the fingers (be creative) and a beverage for yourself. Plates and napkins will be provided, no silverware allowed.

Location: Event will be held at Mary Gayle Van Ingen's home in Milwaukie, just off McLoughlin Boulevard (99E.) Coming from the south, Courtney Road is the next signal after you pass Fred Meyer; from the north it's the signal after you pass the new stone towers. Turn east on Courtney, 2929 is the second house on the north side, beige with brown trim.
