Activities
Bag Raffles – Anyone can donate weaving materials, books, tools, or anything of interest, and everyone gets the chance to bring them home by participating in the bag raffles. Folks buy tickets, and then put tickets in the bag corresponding to the item they want. The winner is then drawn at random. There will be 2 bag raffles, one on Thursday evening and one on Saturday evening.
Silent Auction-Friday – Items of the most interest and value, donated by participants and sponsors, will be auctioned off in the silent auction. This is a great opportunity to buy something really wonderful and keep retreats coming in the future. All proceeds help to offset the costs of the retreat.
ExhibitThis year's exhibit theme on CBBG's 20th Anniversary will be “Honoring our Heritage” Think about what our teachers have taught us over the years. Also consider all the 1,000s of years of basket making that has brought us to the present Bring up to 3 baskets for entry into the exhibit. Beginning weavers are especially encouraged to enter their work.
Evening Presentation – On Friday evening, the featured teacher will give a presentation and slide show related to their fiber arts.
Raffle Basket – Each year we raffle off a basket usually made by one of our guild members. We are thrilled to offer a beautiful basket woven by guild member Donna Sakamoto Crispin. Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday evening. Though we’d love to have you with us, you don’t need to be present to win the basket.
Yoga – Begin your weaving days by stretching and strengthening in a 45-minute Yoga class taught by Carol Horvath. This year CBBG will offer her class to all interested retreat participants. Yoga will begin 45 minutes before breakfast on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings. All levels of Yoga experience are welcome. Some mats and other props will be provided - if you have your own, please bring them to class. Carol is a certified Yoga Teacher Alliance instructor. The guild will be accepting donations to help cover the cost.
Housing Options
On-site housing is available for $25 per night. There will be a limited number per cabin. Cabins have dormitory style sleeping, each cabin with a sink and toilet. A new(!) shower building is available nearby. Beds have comfortable mattresses, but you will need to bring your own sheets, blanket, pillow and towel. For off-site housing, there are numerous hotels in Lincoln City.

See you at B’nai B’rith Camp in September!
