2006 Tidal Twinings "Raffle Basket" by Judy Miles
We are very excited to be able to bring you a different kind of retreat basket this year. CBBG member Judy Miles has painted the image you see on the CBBG website main page. The painting is done in color pencil medium on terra cotta paper, 15"x 19". It is double matted and framed under glass in a black narrow metal frame. Framed and matted 22" x28". You can use the Fall Retreat Registration Form in the Retreat Brochure to purchase tickets. Click here for more information on Judy's drawing.

2006 Retreat Exhibit Information
The theme for 2006 is "Taking Care of Business: Finishing the Unfinished Basket." Come

About the Reteat
The CBBG Fall Retreat is a wonderful opportunity for advancing your basketry skills in a relaxed, no pressure environment. It's also a great time to visit with old friends and make new ones in the splendor of the Oregon coast.

Classes are taught by some of the finest instructors around. Activities outside of class time include bag raffles, an oral auction, and basketry exhibit, plus time to weave on your own in the common room.

Registration information for the retreat is sent to all members of the CBBG Guild and the Northwest Basketweavers Guild. If you are interested in attending the retreat but are not yet a member of either guild, the class offerings and registration information will be available online in early April 2006. (Membership in one of these guilds is not required to attend the retreat, but non-members pay a $25 premium on registration.)

Location: Camp Magruder, Rockaway Beach, Oregon.
