4th Monday Mini-class in March: 3-D Lauhala Pineapple Weaving

Date and time: Monday, March 23, 2026. 1:00 - 4:00 pm PDT

Location: Eugene Textile Center, 2750 Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, OR. (bright blue building)

Cost: $21.00 (includes $6 class fee and $15 per student materials fee)

Number of students: 10

Instructor: Lei McCornack

Student skill level: All levels

Materials provided: Instructor will provide written instructions and all weaving materials necessary for the class. Your kit will include: Lauhala, beads, and thread.

Tools needed for class: scissors, a sharp knife, and a towel

Description: Students will be working with pairs of lauhala (pandanus) strips to create these cute pineapples. It's a fun way to learn some new skills. Once the pineapple is finished, students can embellish them to create ornaments.
