Description: This footed basket features a unique pattern created by the precise placement of weavers and overlays. Woven on a round wooden base, students will learn triple twine with step-ups, chase weave, design-enhancing overlays, and a distinctive rim application. The finished basket is adorned with charming wooden feet.

Students must be familiar with basic weaving skills and have woven at least 5 beginner level baskets. It would be helpful if the student understands how to triple twine.

The student will receive a full kit to complete one Illusions basket which includes: detailed pattern with color pictures, wood base, natural & dyed reed (dyed by the instructor), and four wooden feet. The instructor will also provide sandpaper, tapestry needle & rubber band.

Supplies needed: pencil, sharp scissors, wood glue or insta cure for setting reed spokes into the base.
