Skills Required: Students should be able to twine easily and to know how to do three rod wale (triple twining).
Description: This lovely little basket (approx. 5” X 5”) is made in the traditional beanpot shape. For those looking to improve their skills in weaving, it has a lot of techniques…twining, three rod wale, continuous weave and lashing. Students will apply various colors of round reed to their rims and will attach a wire bale handle upon completion. Anne will guide you through the learning process to a successful conclusion!
Supplies Needed: Small spoke weight, pencil, water for wetting materials, a few clothespins for rim, an awl and a pair of shears.
