Date and time: Saturday, May 23, or Sunday, May 24, 2026. 10 am – 3 pm PT each day. Note: These are one-day sessions, offered on two different days to accommodate different schedules.
Location: Our Table Store Willow Plot (13390 SW Morgan Rd., Sherwood OR)
Cost: $15 Guild fee
Parking: Please park along the driveway entrance, leaving the spots nearest the store available for paying customers.
Number of Students: Unlimited
Supplies/Clothing Needed: Sharp pair of pruners if you have them, lunch and water. Wear sturdy shoes for walking on uneven ground and dress for the weather and gardening type activity.
Description: The session begins with a short keynote presentation by Carol Horvath at the Our Table Store. She will cover key factors to consider when planting cuttings, and plot management. Carol has been growing willows for 12 years and with others, steers the management of the Guild’s plot at Our Table.
We’ll then go out to the CBBG willow plot for a close look at the Guild’s Spring willow growth, Q&A, and hands on participation in what the Brits call “Chelsea chop.”
No prior experience required.
