Come demonstrate basket making at Fort Vancouver Visitor Center (1501 E Evergreen Blvd, Vancouver, WA) on Saturday, August 1, 2026, 10 am-2 pm.

Bring any basket and/or cordage project to work on, and share your skills and enthusiasm with visitors. We’ll also provide a quick craft available for visitors to make. No past demo experience necessary. Sign up for all or only part of the time.

This is a fun way to promote basketry, hang out with like-minded basket makers, and side-quest a visit to Fort Vancouver!
