About the workshop
Students will explore the many possibilities of creating patterns and textures. Ideas for color selection will be discussed. The more adventurous students can explore advanced techniques of combining pattern with shaping.
About the instructor
Claudia Mullek moved from Redondo Beach, California to Entiat, Washington after a 30-year career as a fashion and textile designer. Over a decade ago she turned her attention to basket weaving and the many possibilities of the form.

9am - 5pm with a lunch break each day.

Before the workshop
Instructions for making the base will be sent to you prior to the workshop, or you can purchase a pre-made base at the class for $15. This option is best for beginning students.
What to bring
Your completed base, or $15 to purchase a pre-made base.
Your own supply of waxed linen. There also will be many colors available for purchase.
Tools and supplies: Small scissors, packing tool, large needle, waxed linen. Magnifying glasses and personal light may be helpful.
Your lunch and beverage.
A colorful mindset and a playful attitude.
